It depends on the use. Each power source has its advantages and disadvantages. Internal combustion engines have a lot of power, generate a lot of torque and are more mobile because you can refuel them anywhere. However, they require more maintenance and produce exhaust emissions.
Electronic forklifts have lower overall operating costs, produce no emissions, and have fewer mechanical moving parts, which entails less demanding overall maintenance. They are quieter, cleaner and easier to use. The disadvantage is in the battery as it discharges and it takes a period of time ranging from 5 to 8 hours to recharge to maximum power.
The choice of type is determined by how and where a forklift is used.
